Attention Geeks: Raspberry PI 2

My FIL got my daughter one of these for Easter. Anyone know what you can do with it?

I get that I can hook a micro USB adapter to it, a monitor, and usb mouse and kb. Is there already an O/S on it?

Okay so I use a micro usb card to get my O/S on it.

I have a pi as a web server, and a pic as a xbmc system streaming video off my network. Also plays tv from my hd homerun.

I think the gaming emulator is a cool idea.
Waiting for the Windows 10 IOT OS. Not sure what I would be able to program for it, but it's promising.
With my hdhomerun I was attempting to make one for these things into a cable box, couldn't figure out the tvheadend server part though.

I have a feeling my 11 year old will turn it into a Minecraft machine. LOL I'll have to get my own to do other cool crap with it.

Ironically, it's not easy to do Googles on it. Html browser is an add-on.
