Re: Draymond in Beast Mode last night!
I tried staying awake for the game and made it to about 1/2 way through the 2nd period. I couldn't believe he was guarding Chris Paul and Blake Griffin. I think he just guarded their whole team.
Why does GS want to fire Mark Jackson? Makes it to the playoffs for 2 consecutive years, after they hadn't done well in a while, and they want to get rid of him? I don't follow NBA enough to understand that.

Draymond owned Griffin last night, in my professional opinion. Lock down D all game on him, forced him into a bunch of tough shots, and outworked him on the glass.

Issues with his assistant coaches. 2 have been let go/reassigned this season.InTenSityX wrote:I tried staying awake for the game and made it to about 1/2 way through the 2nd period. I couldn't believe he was guarding Chris Paul and Blake Griffin. I think he just guarded their whole team.

Rumors that he was really pushing to get the clippers job after last season, even though he had a job.
GS owners thought their team was better than the record. Team has a lot of talent, and goes into ISO-ball too much for some of the "advanced stats gurus".
Be interesting to see what they do if they lose game 7. I didn't expect them to take it to 7 games after losing Bogut. The players clearly love him and play hard for him.

How much is left on his rookie contract? 1 or 2 years?

Re: Draymond in Beast Mode last night!
LA almost broke it open in first half, he had two huge steals in a row that lead to fast break points off his outlet passes and a key rebound to do the same. Huge plays.
GS is already without Bogut, then big baby submarines O'Neal's knees and took him out, and Speight picked up 5 fouls before halftime, at one point GS went 4 guards and Green, he was covering Jordan. Just an amazing game by GS.

Draymond's contract
Thanks
As long as he keeps it up, he has a nice contract coming to him.

I like him, but I have a substantial amount of bias since I watched him play for St. John's when I was a kid. He definitely speaks his mind.

Oh, and it's also tough to hate a guy who loves Draymond and has really championed him from almost day 1.

That's a good point about humanity in general that's still applicable today. Hell, even Guest was a good guy in college and look at him now.
