Spring Wrap Up - The Quaterbacks

The Good:
Connor Cook appears to have solidified the starting role. He played a lot in the Spring Game and threw a lot of nice balls. He still still tends to get happy feet in the pocket, according to a source. He will need to work on that, as footwork is essential to accurate throwing. Some NFL type guys are predicting he could be the first quarter second quarterback taken in next year's draft (possible behind one of Harbaugh's guys).
The Bad:
Damion Terry is injured again and didn't play in the Spring. Many fans were heard to shout: "Put Terry in!" He may make the field for some special packages such as wild cat, pistol, shotgun, AK-47, wild Man, read option, spread option or play action. His effectiveness will depend on whether he can stay healthy and also the X's and O's and stuff.
The In-between:
Tyler O'Connor showed flashes of brilliance and at other times utter mediocrity. O'Connor needs to step up this season on practice field, in the film room and on the message boards, if he hopes to take over the helm next year. You can bet Damion Terry, Brian LeWerke and Tommy Vento will be gunning for the starting job.
