I'd be shocked if he signs a new contract with the Steelers. They already have one offensive weapon on season-long suspension. I don't think the Rooneys will want to make a habit out of this, especially with him having had two serious knee injuries. Basides, good RBs are a dime a dozen these days.

The Steelers will just place the franchise tag on him. He'll get $12-13 million.

If anyone thinks a marijuana violation is is career killer in the NFL or NBA they are kidding themselves. It's all about production for both leagues.

The Steelers cut Blount, the player in the car with Bell and within a week the Patriots signed him and he's still in the league.

If their actions reduce their outside income it's their own fault.

Another suspension will likely be a season killer though. And another knee surgery might just be a career killer.
