Jones should have gone pro last year and Miller should have transferred that being said - they're loaded

They definitely have more talent than we do. 

But, there's a lot to be said for desire and effort, and I think this year we come into that game with a boost of it, and i'm not sure they do after winning the NC. And our QB is better than theirs. We have a good shot at it. Have to hope we don't slip up elsewhere and come into that one with Coach D and staff having the team in full disrespect mode, like they were in the B1G Champ game.

I feel like OSU is heading into dynasty mode.

Wow. Didn't expect that.

About time he made the move. He was probably the worst QB out of that trio. He wasn't very good on deep passes and couldn't read defenses. MSU did very well against him in his 3 games against us.

I think our game comes down to if they go with Barrett or Jones. If they pick Barrett, I think they win. If they pick Jones, I think we win.

What made Jones so good, was the lack of film, how he was such a tank to bring down, and the cannon he had for an arm. He's not very good at reading defenses and short passes aren't his forte. I think Jones is going to take a step back without Devin Smith take the top off of defenses and being such a great deep threat. The size of MSU's DL should reduce Jones' impact running, but our players should be well-coached enough to go after his legs as well to get him down easier. Jones also has barely any film for teams to work off of, and by the time they play us, they'd have loads of film out there and we know how good our staff is at figuring things out. 

Barrett...enough said. Dude is fantastic, although he was starting to regress after our game because teams were getting film on him (why couldn't it be before our game?...sigh).

Well I guess we have some film now on Jones beating UW 59-0 in the BT title game and then beating Bama and Oregon for the national title.

Go for the legs and Jones will go down. He's too big and strong to try and wrap up.

And he'll look a lot worse without Devin Smith to throw deep to. Seriously, it's crazy how much the deep ball made him look good, and last year there was no one better in CFB at taking the top off of defenses than Devin Smith (and going deep was Jones' main threat as a passer, not the short and intermediate passes). I think people are underestimating the loss of Devin Smith, and I think Barrett will mitigate that loss a lot more than Jones will.
