Herbie Green > blanch
Solid poster.
Kind of sensitive, but that's OK.

he seems like a nice guy. You're right, though - he gets a little sensitive when you discuss the town he lives in. It's cool, though - we're all on our journey.NigelUno wrote:Solid poster.

I was only joking. I ride a bike as well or at least used to. It is just kind of ironic for you that the first thing you have to do to go on a bike ride in EL is get out of EL.

He doesn't seem sensitive any more. Just really angry. I'd wear a helmet.

it would be hard to get in 40 mile rides up and down Abbot Road.Herbie Green wrote:Robert J Sakimano wrote:why - are you going to come there and live out your threat?

some of my favorite loops are usually up Chandler, out Round Lake Road, etc - up toward Sleepy Hollow, Laingsburg, Perry, etc.

And I bet it is always a big relief when you finally make it to a road with no traffic. Come on, you know you want to move to the country. You just don't seem like the neighborhood association type to me.

my neighborhood doesn't have an "association" - that I know of. If it does, I'm not a member of it. That I know of. My wife might know - she's usually in charge of financial things.
but, no, definitely no country-living for me. Not my scene.

Park your car in the front lawn and see what happens. Out wait, you don't have a car and might not have a front lawn either.

I give it one year tops. They might as well just shut it down now.
...I was just in EL yesterday. Bought some MSU gear at the store next to the Peanut Barrell and then went to El Az for dinner.
I must have seen at least 100 girls - 99 ugly ones and 1 average one. What is up with that?!

Inflight was a head shop/frisbee/grateful dead boot leg tape store. Lot's of tie dye available.
But it was really a front. Lots of "deals" in the backroom. They eventually got in trouble with the feds and the principal owner committed suicide.
