So the coaches basically liked what they saw from a M*A*S*H unit on the road, and didn't ding us for losing on the scoreboard for sixty minutes.  Is that about right?

Whatever coach (or SID) who had been giving us a #1 vote must not have liked us winning against a top 15 team on the road.

They have punished us for close wins against unranked opponents, but when we win against a ranked opponent they don't reward us.
