The last eight years have been great for all Spartan football fans, nobody's going to argue with that. But, I've been a bit envious of the youngest generation of Spartan football fans because, by and large, all they have known is success. No sweat equity, as it were.

This morning I woke up a changed man. I've been rehabilitated.

I now consider the older generations of Spartan football fans like myself to be like good old Andy Dufresne, who crawled through a river of shit and came out clean on the other side.

The beaches of Zihuatanejo are pretty goddamned nice.
