Attention tGreenWay..

EAST LANSING – Police are seeking a suspect in connection with a sexual assault early this morning.

The suspect, who remains at large, assaulted the victim at about 5:10 a.m. at the intersection of Harrison Road and Northlawn Avenue, East Lansing police said in an alert. He told the victim he had a weapon but didn't show it, police said.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot-tall white man with a scruffy face.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.

Don't think that didn't cross my mind. I walk through that intersection every damn day.  But the attacker was clean shaven and muscular. There's no chance I could be misidentified.

though I'm out running often around that that, I haven't been clean shaven in probably 20+ years... and I don't know anyone that would describe me as "muscular".

I'm probably not the best guy to have a beer with. There is a very good chance that I don't want to talk anyone, much less the person who I'm having a beer with. For instance, I was down south this past week. I sat at a few bars drinking and I'm not sure I said anything to anyone the entire time.

Maybe I should ask Trevor for recommendations - ya know, since he knows me so well.

Sounds like me. I'd go to Rick's to drink and listen to the band. Too loud to talk, and didn't want to try. Back then all the bands played original stuff. I got accused by various barflies of looking pissed off or even being stuck up.

I sat in various bars in my hometown drinking and I figured people were like "who is that guy"..? And the entire time, I was thinking "who the hell are these people and when did they move to my hometown"..??
