Whoa, no way we have any chance left because of special teams play. I think 8-4 and pizza pizza bowl at best.

we win every game by at least 3 TD's.

oh - and pride comes before the fall.. or something like that.

Actually after going over the games we've played so far, I've changed my mind. I'm pretty sure we lost 3 of them. Maybe the scoreboard accidentally showed we had more points, but right now we're 5-3, almost 4-4, and we'll lose out the remainder of our schedule. No bowl game this year.

I don't think we're going to lose the games as much as the officials won't allow us to win.

I say we lose one game.. the fanbase whines and moans.. about something.. anything. And we go to a decent bowl game... which, of course, our fanbase will whine and moan about.

oh - and I'll go along with your ranking of the 4 remaining games too because you seem to enjoy football.

@Nebraska is a tougher game than PSU imo.

Lincoln is a hell for opposing teams at night.

Agreed. Plus we match up better w psu and will have all the motivation in the world when we play them

I think we roll into Columbus unbeaten and have a decent chance to get them.

Strangely, I worry a little about PSU on thanksgiving weekend. ( no students in the stands, cold, hangover, etc )

Now if we lose that game and win in Indy......do we get in the playoffs ?

You all are fools if you think Nebraska is going to be a cake walk. Night game and too much pride in that program. I expect it to be our toughest game to date

I don't think any game is a "cakewalk". Ever. The kids on the other teams are on scholarship for a reason.

We certainly could lose to any team remaining, including Maryland.

Pride? One of their captains admitted they sucked to fans earlier in the year. That doesn't seem too prideful to me.

Plus it's not even a real night game kicking off at 6 p.m. local time. Nebraska couldn't even stay attractive enough to get the ABC time slot and instead caused them to pass and take OSU-Minnesota.

I think it's our easiest game left because of their bad coach, and the extra time we have to get healthier before it.

Other than OSU rating the other 3 are even.  Wins are very likely.

Maryland played OSU tough and looked like they might get by PSU.  But by the time MSU plays them they will be rudderless.  The seniors will be thinking about a disappointing year while those remaining will be worried if they'll be needed when the new coach is hired.

PSU still has Hackenberg who still wilts under pressure.  There's been a toxic relationship between Franklin's offensive philosophy and pro-style Hackenberg's skill set since Franklin was hired.  They never matched up.  Hackenberg was the 5* pro style leftover Franklin inherited.

Nebraska has no identity.  No explosiveness on either side of the ball.  They have a pass happy coach with QB's and linemen recruited to play option offense.   The last of the defense's feared Blackshirts are at least 45 years old and show up for homecoming games.   The best defense they see in Lincoln is when they show old highlights on the video board.

OSU will be tough.  The biggest challenge will be who Meyer has playing QB.  He may be starting JT Barrett but if he stumbles or is injured Cardale Jones comes in with different a offensive package. Then he's stil got Big Ten POY Braxton Miller who can return to his old position.  Somehow the special teams play will be overshadowed by both teams defenses.

Unfortunately if MSU beat OSU in a squeaker, like on the last play of the game and then wins out they will end up in the inaugural Ermirates Bowl flying to Dubai with Jennifer Aniston for a rematch with WMU With an official media record of 10-0-2 because two of their wins didn't count and the winner of the the OSU / umma game takes their rightful place in the Big Ten Championship game.

Well with Armstrong out...I figured they'd beat Purdue and they'd be playing for their season vs MSU.
