Why is Duke ahead of MSU in the hoops Coaches poll? Also Maryland is #2? No way.

Duke at #3 in the Coaches Poll is a joke. They barely beat unranked Georgetown and lost soundly to Kentucky. Plus MSU should be ahead of Maryland in both polls, too. It's like the pollsters think beating Georgetown is some kind of accomplishment.

I guess, but the media (AP) has us 3 and Duke 6.  The Coaches poll has Duke ahead of us.

Some of these guys are actually pretty comical, like they haven't even seen the weekly scores, and we know that never happens! Like the one fool, Soren Petro, has MSU at 10 and Kansas at 6 as well as NC 4 ahead of ISU.
The criteria to be a voter is obviously very stringent, just ask Drew Sharp.
Hopefully the basketball polls will soon become as meaningless as the AP football poll now is.
