Deathstorm 2016

We're forecast for 21"-24" of snow from now to Tuesday night.

I've bought ammunition, a new broom for cleaning my Dish, got feed for the chickens and cow, updated my will to account for the $900 million I'll be owed tomorrow.


Is there anything else I need to do today?



PS - I love you all even if I generally can't stand you, but don't let that bother you it was much the same with my 1st wife.

So 12"-21" there, not quite as bad as Torregrossa.   My brother in law farms about 3500 acres and he swears by Torregrossa at MLive as the most accurate forecaster in Michigan.

24" in three days isn't exactly a deathstorm in those parts of Michigan, eh?

In the Central lower Peninsula? I'll bet we haven't had 24" in one storm in 7-8 years at least.

They don't have to be serious. Just expected the snow to be more remarkable than what it turned out to be is all. 

For the central lower peninsula 24" in one storm would be remarkable. This looks like a couple of storms though.

I was here but have early onset dementia. I do remember storms from the 60s and 70s though.

Looks like I picked a bad time to sell my 4x4.

Not sure if serious.

The view outside my window just went from straight-down rain to sideways snow. We gone.

I'm going to estimate we got 5-6" so far with snow still falling.

I'm good so far, just grilled a couple steaks with the son in law after plowing the driveway. My guess is that we're now approaching 10" total snow, but it's pretty much petered out right now. Maybe it'll get back to serious snowing later.

Wish we had snow. Completely green in my part of Western New York. Terrible winter so far. No decent skiing and have yet to get enough snow to break out the snowshoes.
