Kiffin admits that Steve Sarkisian, who he coached alongside at USC, sent him text messages with suggestions for plays for the Crimson Tide to run during the second half of the Cotton Bowl.

The offensive coordinator did not say whether he used Sarkisian’s suggestions in his play calling. But, it should be noticed that Kiffin’s Alabama offense had a stellar performance, scoring 28 points in the second half.

Kiffin admits Sarkisian texted him during Cotton Bowl

I get that we can't actually play in the national championship game, but if they vacate the win can someone vacate my memory of the loss? Like, men in black shit and stuff?

To be fair I was pretty drunk and after it was 17-0 is pretty fuzzy anyway. So tommy lee johns and will smith won't have all that much memory erasing to do. I should get a discount.

Lane Kiffin has always been a smug little fuck.  It's a major reason Al Davis and Pat Haden fired him mid season.

If Saban hears from the NCAA on a rules violation I wouldn't be surprised to see Kiffin jettisoned after next Tuesday.
Alabama will take a win if it comes their way on the 11th.
