Bryant could offer many more scholarships, pay players over the table and didn't have to ride herd over his donor base so they wouldn't get caught violating the rarely enforced recruiting rules.

Saban is limited to 85 scholarships and his players can leave for the NFL after 3 seasons.

It depends on the criteria. And I thought the same thing until I looked at the numbers. Bryant's numbers are just staggering. Saban is more efficient in terms of winning national championships, though. But this debate is like arguing who the better Yankee is: Ruth, Gehrig, DeMaggio, Jeter… etc…
