**** it...I'm going to Vegas

It's never been high on my list of places to visit but I ran into Ian from Cheap Girls (a local band for those of you out of the loop, direct any questions to Bob) and he told me they had signed on for a 7 week tour with The Hold Steady (a Sakimano & Common Ground approved rock band) this summer.

They are playing Chicago but that is a only week before Common Ground and I have already been to the venue a handful of times. Scrolling through the tour dates my eye landed on Aug 2nd date the Hard Rock in Vegas. Fights should be cheap (who goes to Vegas in August?) and I figured if I am ever going to break my Vegas cherry it may as well be for my buddy's band and my favorite band of the last 10 years.
