Hills is now a part of 3 active Federal Investigations - Is that a record?

Losing New Hampshire by 22 points to an avowed socialist was bad enough for Hillary Clinton. But then came the news — first reported by WaPo — that the State Department had opened a inquiry regarding the activities of the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation during her time time as secretary of state. And bad went to way, way worse.

By my count, this latest State Department inquiry makes for three active investigations by the federal government that touch directly or indirectly on the 2016 Democratic presidential front-runner.

1. The newly revealed State inquiry into the Clinton Foundation and top Clinton aide Huma Abedin

2. The ongoing State inquiry into Clinton's private email server

3. The FBI investigation into Clinton's email server

And that list doesn't include the myriad looks Congress is taking into Clinton's time at State.

It's worth noting right at the top here that Clinton herself is not the target of any of these inquiries or investigations. Which from a legal perspective is very important, but which, from a political perspective, is far less convincing.

It just make you wonder why a high ranking government official would hire a private firm to install a private, unsecured server in his/her home instead of simply having the State Department do it and make it secure?

She was one of the all time worst candidates a major party has ever nominated. This is from February when everyone had fair warning that she was incapable of winning, but everyone is too busy telling people that their facts are wrong to realize that it doesn’t matter at all if they’re wrong.

That's actually not true. Like her or not, she was more qualified for the job than just about anybody else in recent memory, including her dumbass husband.

Maybe people did not like her demeanor or personality (which they rarely hold against male candidates), but she has incredible knowledge of foreign and domestic political issues, an understanding of political institutions and processes at home and abroad, and established relations with other world leaders from her time as Secretary of State. Trump had none of this, and Sanders was clueless about the broader world of foreign policy. This can be acknowledged without having to embrace any of her policy positions.

It is true.

Qualified isn’t what I said, is it? You can have all of the qualifications in the world,  it if you’re incapable of getting the job it’s completely meaningless. All these years later and you’re still hung up on the qualifications as if it means anything.

You're not wrong, but your assertion that she was unelectable is likely extremely influenced by the republican war machine/psy op that was run against her for years prior to that.

She was electable, she wasn't that bad, but you are what people think you are and the republican campaign against her was overwhelming.

I agree, and we are currently in the middle of it. You see the polling about how everyone thinks the economy is 100% shit, but the vast majority are personally doing "great"... that gap is the media feeding us garbage.
