All others are saying nothing has changed and no decision has been made. JJ still wants MSU and mom still doesn't and it could go either way.

I'll keep popping in there out of morbid curiosity and let you guys know if any kind of solid info comes out. But I wouldn't expect anything until we hear from the kid himself.

Guys the read is pretty strong to Kansas. Still nothing definitive, but most of the "insiders" don't know either way but gun to blanch's head, they're picking KU.

It's like this....some people in JJ's camp, likely including his mother....really don't want him at MSU. You can speculate as to the reasons, they've all been mentioned before in this thread. But they don't want him at MS.

JJ's heart is at MSU and has been for some time. That does not mean he hates KU and does not want to be there. It simply means if there were no obstacles MSU is probably where he would end up.

There do not seem to be "Malik-like" signs that he is willing to upset that Apple-cart at this point in time, with the decision coming down tomorrow. That is why most are predicting KU. Kansas seems a pretty safe bet at this point.

There are some insiders saying with this one nothing will be over until the kid is on campus due to the different opinions within his camp. But I guess the moral of the story is, don't get your hopes up.

I really am never comfortable with a kid who has "camps". At least it was just MM vs his mom and dad. No "camps" or "people"

CBB recruiting/AAU circuit is so fucked up and weird. I mean hell, this kid's mom started an AAU team that has an endorsement from UA.

College sports is big business and that's uncomfortable.

I don't think basketball talented kids who don't want to go to college should have to go to college. If Silver and those idiots don't want to let them in the NBA, fine. Let them in the NBADL. Either go to college or pick the NBA, and if you pick NBA, you go to the DL and can't play for 1-2 years.

It sucks that kids have to go to China if they don't want to go to college. Many of these kids are not college students.
