150K miles? You can do better than that for 3K$. Just get something smaller like a Hyundai accent or a Ford festiva or something.
150K is just asking for problems. Especially in MI.

I drove a Subi to 250k miles with few problems so I guess I have no concept of how many miles are too much. Craigslist doesn't have too many good options at the momentRocinante wrote:150K miles? Ooooh. A 20 year old Saturn with a stick and only 68K miles... I used to have one of these. Great car. But that age with that mileage scares me.

Your best bet for cheap parts will be the Impala over the Grand Prix.

I vote for the Gran Prix....I got laid in one of those in 1977. Â Of course then they were a bit larger.

Why the hell would you offer a car on CL if you won't let anyone test drive it. I'd report him, tbh. That's a baaaaad sign.

Update! Snagged a 2001 Bonneville, 120k miles for $2700. Everything checked out by a mechanic and it has a sunroof. Offered him $2200 and he didn't budge. Reluctantly accepted the deal of 27. Not happy about it but this thing runs smooth and looks decent. I'm content. Definitely an upgrade from the Subi

Did you get your frisky hands slapped back trying to put the moves on a lady-friend in the backseat of a blue car?
