Fucking Oven.... gone

Anybody? Suggestions? I'm dropping about 1500 right? My mom has a 60 year old stove that my parents got for their wedding up in her house. Still works like a charm. I'm in my house 19 years now, and it's gone. I get that 19 years is a long time, and it's time to redo the kitchen anyway, but fuck. So, get off my back about not doing the kitchen for 19 years, fuck you. I'm doing it this summer.

Willing to do either orat this point. Kitchen is getting overhauled this summer.   Dont' want to kill myself on it, because frankly, I think we're just doing shit to the house to sell and move in 5 years or so when we're near 60.   But I'd like a decent one that isn't going to kill me.

Will sell for Dwags $1500 price limit. Been sitting in my garage for 6 years and never put it on craigslist. The hood alone was $1000 new.

Unfortunatley the range your mother got was built better with heavier parts from exterior walls to the handles to turn the burners on and off.

Higher end is the GE Monogram series. GE Cafe series is a step below and still very nice pretty nice.

Then you can get into Wolf and Viking. Nice stuff but it is in the if you have to ask how much you can't afford it range.

The only one I'd stay the hell away from is JennAir. The vent issues never leave.

Depends what your needs are. I just got a new range (electric) for like $500. It works well. I don't cook on it enough to give a shit about gas vs. electric. I'd rather boil water fast.

What does your wife have to do with a business deal between swillers?    The range is low mileage and the variable speed motor in the hood can generate enough CFM to make you forget the last time she blew you.
