Scott Skiles is the front runner for the vacant Orlando Magic head coaching position, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

Skiles last coached the Bucks for five seasons before he left in 2013. Before that, he coached in Chicago and Phoenix, but has only a 443-433 record as a head coach and has never reached the conference finals.

The Magic are not in a hurry to hire a new coach this offseason after firing Jacque Vaughn this season, but talk with Skiles could soon advance into contract negotiation, according to Wojnarowski. James Borrego finished coaching the Magic this season in the interim and Orlando finished with a 25-57 record; however, the team has young talent in place that includes Elfrid Payton, Victor Oladipo, Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic.

Scott Skiles is favorite to become next Magic head coach, per report

Fwiw I think skiles is a better fit for the t wolves given the roster and his coaching experience
