It's all about the $$$$$$$ for the Olympics selection committee. After that payoff the results are irrelevant. Rinse and repeat in 4 years.

They should build the facilities once and quit rotating the damned things. Do the Winter Games in Switzerland/Austria and the Summer games in Des Moines.
