I must be a Midwesterner at heart then - the pizza out here in CO has been solid but nothing special. Nothing on Rome or Chicago. Haven't been to NJ or NYC. Only a quick road trip to Syracuse for that E8 game vs the Ville.

Yeah, "real pizza" consists of tomatoes basil and mozzarella.

The colors of the Italian flag. Everything else is add on. Unless you order it in that manner, you're ordering something more than was intended. So whether it is one item or five, it isn't "real" if you get technical. But of course east coasters will tell you they invented the shit. Get whatever you want on it. I'm not a fan of putting hot sauce on it, but fuck it, you're eating your slice, not me. Do what you want.
