Is tTy hanging out with Kid Rock and Jimmy John??

MACKINAC ISLAND - Kid Rock, who famously sang about summertime exploits in Northern Michigan, is setting Up North communities abuzz after he was spotted on Mackinac Island Sunday and looks to be cruising on a pricey yacht to other touristy harbor towns on Monday.
Pictures of the Michigan native, otherwise known as Robert Ritchie, began cropping up on social media over the weekend. They were shared on the Mackinac Island Dockporters Association Facebook page, and later by a Mackinac Bridge group.

He appeared to be traveling on a 198-foot yacht named "Rock It" owned by Jimmy John's restaurant owner Jimmy John Liautaud. A superyacht website priced the vessel at a cool $100 million.

An online marine traffic tracker showed the yacht pulled up to Mackinac Island just after noon on Sunday and left early Monday, Aug. 1. It traveled south into Lake Michigan and docked in Charlevoix before lunch.

Kid Rock's social media pages have been mum on any vacation plans.

No man. I've only been there like 2-3x in my life. My buddy lives out that way and in a rare worlds colliding thing his wife and kid were out of town and my wife and kids were also out. I had a long-ish drive home so I only had an Oberon and a light beer.

He does better than alright, and seems to pull in a crowd at his shows, but that's only from what I've read. Thankfully, I have no first-hand knowledge of that.

I was definitely not a fan in his younger years, never have seen him live but some of his later stuff is ok. My kids don't care for him so I guess that means I should like him. I saw this clip a couple years ago and enjoyed seeing him give this young lady the highlight of her life. Skip ahead to 2:00 in .......
