Only a year late but this is better than nothing I guess. If I recall correctly I got a strange inside joke hazing upon arrival.

As for gum I usually just buy those huge packs of Eclipse/Trident in spearmint flavor because it's green of course.

Hot dog buns and pretty much all bread are actually handled via SBT (scan based trading). We don't own the inventory at any point and pay the vendor once it's sold/scanned at checkout. The inventory is managed by a vendor rep that visits the stores every day.

Meijer does control the planogram/shelf space allocated for hot dog buns though...so I guess in the end we're partially to blame. What store was it?

You won't hear it from me. Meijer gave me a big break once when I was a pipsqueak. Took me years of drives to Walker Ave but was worth it in the end.

Plus Michigan based, family owned - should be the kind of business people support.
