Obama will stop at nothing to ruin this country: White House plans to fill rural America with lesbian farmers Empty Obama will stop at nothing to ruin this country: White House plans to fill rural America with lesbian farmers

Barack Obama is nearing the finish line of a presidency filled with accomplishments ranging from death panels to FEMA camps to the importation of Sharia law. Year eight is a natural time for Obama to unveil the most deviously brilliant plot of them all: mass lesbian infiltration of the agriculture sector. The Department of Agriculture has cleverly designed this scheme as an innocuous outreach summit to LGBT Americans living in rural areas. But Rush Limbaugh has exposed the administration’s true intentions, which are nothing less than a full-scale assault on the last bastion of red-state America.

Here’s how it works. “Rural America happens to be largely conservative. Rural America is made up of self-reliant, rugged individualist types,” explains Limbaugh. (Farmers are “self-reliant” because, even though their sector is technically the recipient of heavy federal subsidies, they are overwhelmingly white.) Obama has a plan to attack them:

They are trying to bust up one of the last geographically conservative regions in the country; that’s rural America … So here comes the Obama Regime with a bunch of federal money and they’re waving it around, and all you gotta do to get it is be a lesbian and want to be a farmer and they’ll set you up … apparently enough money it make it happen, and the objective here is to attack rural states.

The Black farmer scheme failed and just turned into a massive yet wildly under-reported boondoogle so why not try again? Even if it fails one of your favorite interest groups gets billions in free federal cash.

I was just saying to the wife: I think this country needs more lesbian farmers. Glad I wasn't the onliest one with that thought.

The Rural Summit Series is about the USDA connecting with members of the LGBT community already living in rural areas. You probably should not take Rush's word on this one, no matter how hard that might be.

Do you think the crops will be accused of being part of the patriarchy if one of these farmers were to experience a bad harvest?

You posted it here, not Rush. The Pigford thing isn't based on Rush's word.

Pigford: The Unexamined Obama Administration Scandal

Yet can Pigford be fairly described as a scandal?

Pigford began innocently enough: as a lawsuit to redress a perceived wrong against a group of 91. But then the number climbed to 400....then 1,600...then...

The number of black farmers has metastasized -- nay, exploded -- and the aggrieved group now includes not only blacks, but Hispanics, Native Americans, and females. In fact over 90,000 people have filed claims seeking a payment under the terms of the original Pigford court ruling. That decision, now referred to as Pigford #1, was anticipated to cost approximately $120 million, including legal fees.

Pigford #2 is the appellation used to identify an expanded payment regime that funds more payments to African-Americans, Native Americans, Hispanics, and females. This regimen grew out of the fact that thousands of claimants missed the original Pigford #1 filing deadline of October 12, 1999. Interestingly, Native American potential claimants were estimated at 5,300, while plaintiff lawyers pegged the exposure at an estimated 19,000 Native Americans. The judgment fund announced by Agricultural Secretary Thomas Vilsack and Eric Holder in 2010 was expanded from just over $120 million to $1.25 billion, given the expectation of many more filers.

However, the explosion of claimants has caused payouts to reach $4.4 billion and has swelled legal fees to over $130 million. More importantly, the claim's process created a rush to get a share of the monies allocated to the judgment fund, even if no real claim existed. Essentially, the process encouraged people to lie and spawned a cottage industry. Claimants had only to file applications for a $50,000 payment by stating that they had "thought about" applying for loans to become a farmer. Proof of a claimant's intent to farm also included a statement from that petitioner saying he or she had attempted to farm by planting a batch of tomatoes in his or her backyard and having that statement verified by a family member. In essence, the need to be a farmer at the time of the alleged discriminatory actions by the USDA was not a requirement to share in the financial redress.

And that radical conservative rag The Atlantic....

The dumbass fear of lesbian farmers being settled in rural areas - the basis of the thread - came from Rush. Your comparison was to the Pigford case is false. Pigford was about direct distribution of funds to claimants, whereas the Summit Series is not.

As for Pigford, the original expansion of the number of people that could sue started in Congress in May 2008. That was before Obama was even elected and he did not vote on the legislation that allowed for the original expansion.

Has anyone except for Rush (who's paid to find things to talk/complain about) pushed this "fear of lesbian farmers"?

He is pretty fat. Of all people he could benefit from more farmers, regardless of whom they're attracted to. Less processed fatty foods and more natural foods.

Nah, but if Rush mentions it all Republicans believe deeply in it. Whereas your Democrats are all independent thinkers that somehow all come to the same exact conclusions daily.
