Joan Jett, Lita Ford, Cherie Curie and a member of the Bangles - there was some talent in that band.

Cheating a bit here - but she did release a solo version of this song in the late 70s.

In honor of Mr. Cornell, some original Seattle rock.

I believe this video was shot when Wags was dating Nancy.

One of my favorite videos - a 70s song though so it counts.

Not sure if this has been posted in this thread already or not, and I'm too lazy to check.

I sometimes feel this way when talking politics nowadays. Not that I consider myself a centrist or a moderate, I'm almost certainly neither, but god damn both sides are getting real dumb.

Not a bad version......

=================
This morning, our inbox received two emails featuring special releases in honor of the Fourth of July. The Dead Daisies have put out their cover Grand Funk Railroad‘s “We’re an American Band” and Mike Love of the Beach Boys has re-recorded the Beach Boys “Do It Again.”

“We’re an American Band,” which can be heard above, is found on the group’s new Live & Louder record and, as singer John Corabi said, they started playing it for a special reason. “We first did “American Band” by Grand Funk Railroad for our troops in South Korea. We wanted to bring a little bit of something ‘American’ to our men and women in uniform, and give them a taste of home. So, what better way than a classic American tune by a legendary American band. The song went over so well we decided to keep playing it and subsequently recorded it for our Live and Louder album. Enjoy the Daisies version, the video, and your FREEDOM the troops are fighting for on this celebration of our independence as a young, sovereign nation!!!”

The rare UFO ballad....Phil's mournful lyrics over love lost...then beginning around 2:32 we get sn over 2 minute serving of a nice chunky slab of Schenker solo....classic.....sit back and enjoy the mastery, the majesty....

Was never a huge Foreigner fan but this is pretty cool......most of the original members onstage together for the 1st time in 37 years.

Foreigner Reunite With Lou Gramm, Al Greenwood and Ian McDonald for the First Time Since 1980

Also did some vocals for Roger Waters.....
