Here come the Hurons (Warning: MAC football talk)
EMU is 4-1. By my count, the last time EMU started the season 4-1 or better was 1995. A winning season is pretty rare for EMU regardless of opponents. Since 1995, there have more winless and 1-2 win seasons than winning seasons.
EMU has three big tests in three weeks. Toledo and then on the road to WMU and Ohio. In recent years, CMU had its moment under Kelly and Jones. WMU might be having its moment right now under Fleck. Maybe EMU is building something under Creighton. The certainly deserve something good after years of cellar dwelling and facing questions about remaining I-A.

Are EMU people even football EMU fans? I thought they just rooted for the team full of Heismans on the Huron.

If he makes EMU a winner he most certainly is the real deal. That place is a graveyard of coaching careers. I am pulling for him to do well. Maybe the Michigan teams can come to dominate the MAC, or at least the MAC West.

Players react to bowl selection. Good for them. I hope EMU continues to build a program.

A program that can't afford to have one made a bowl game and MSU didn't. Yikes !

Re: Here come the Hurons (Warning: MAC football talk)
Fresno State snags EMU OC and OL coach. MSU might be able to move up to 4th best program in the state next year. No matter what MSU is still a top 5 program!!
DeBoer most recently was Eastern Michigan’s offensive coordinator for three seasons.
Ryan Grubb coached Eastern Michigan’s offensive line during the time, and he comes with DeBoer to Fresno State to complete Tedford’s staff. Grubb will coach the Bulldogs’ offensive line and coordinate the running game.
