Five Minnesota players out vs. Rutgers over restraining orders

"Cornerbacks KiAnte Hardin and Ray Buford, safety Dior Johnson, running back Carlton Djam and defensive lineman Tamarion Johnson are out after a woman involved in Golden Gophers game-day operations filed the orders stemming from a September sexual assault allegation. TCF Bank Stadium was included in restricted addresses for the players."

WTF would a judge approve the restraining order if no charges were filed due to lack of evidence?

Insufficient evidence of sexual assault doesn't mean insufficient evidence for a restraining order

Perhaps, but inside the stadium playing the game is incredibly punitive. If anything the complainant should be held from the stadium. How the hell do you approve an order against people forbidding them from main location of their workplace? That is just fucked up and I am not one that usually takes the side of athletes in a dispute.
