The Monday Morning Kickoff

Rutgers saw two of its offensive starters go down on Saturday, losing its leading wide receiver Bo Melton. The senior was injured in the first half and did not return. After the game, Schiano had no update on his status.

“I haven't even gone there. You know, I'm praying that he's not going to be out long-term. But those are discussions and decisions for down the road a little bit. Right now, I've got to get my act together and get something to eat and get to work. We've got a lot of work to do."

Starting left tackle Raiqwon O'Neal also went down with an injury and finished the game watching from the sidelines while wearing a boot. Rutgers already lost starting cornerback Max Melton for an undetermined amount of time as he was suspended after his arrest for an incident with a paintball gun two weeks ago.
