I think you tighten up the play book a bit more down at your end of the field and take fewer chances. You also are giving up field position if you stop them on three downs and they have to punt.

the lions couldn't stop their running game, as we saw play out. I don't know if I would've done the same thing but I understand why they did it. Which is more than I can say for a lot of lions decisions.
