Is the CFP killing other Bowl Games?
Lots of empty seats at the Cotton Bowl.

Maybe Wisconsin fans do not travel as well as Iowa fans.

No. You went to MSU.
You're drinking too much, DWags.

Well I don't go watch the teams who play at ford field and I'm 20 minutes away. It's why I bought a big screen.

Not sure if serious… I always talk about going to the Fiesta Bowl and have really only gone a handful of times. I hit a couple of ASU games every year and talk about seeing Arizona but have never gone. Too much other stuff to do I guess.
Yeah, it might not be a top priority but I certainly would not be opposed to going.

Western v Wisconsin at in Indy or Detroit would have been a big ticket item.

Thought I saw tickets for $8 on Stubhub. Would I pay $8 if I lived in Dallas? Probably.
Seems like every Western fan/alum would be at this game. It will be their biggest game ever.
Has it become meaningless because of the CFP though? Is that why there are tons of empty seats?
Attendance at Louisville/LSU was atrocious. The upper decks were empty. Heisman Trophy winner vs. a pretty popular SEC team and seemed like no one really cared.

Tickets may have been $8 but if you drove to the game parking was $50 to $75 so you were still out $85-$100 before you set foot in ATT Stadium.
We can't turn back time. I think we will have an 8 team playoff by 2018 with the final game played on Saturday of the dead week between the NFL conference finals and Super Bowl.

It would be awesome. Unless your season lasts one week. That would suck.
