Also, Twitter was up in arms last night that the NBA was "rigged" when the refs missed that goaltending call late in the game. This series will feature more "discussion" about officiating than anything else.

I'm rooting for the heat. Wade has full custody of his boys, which he had to fight to get from their mother. James has been a class act down here. The organization is run well and its a talented team. This summer will be interesting.

Reading his background he seems like a good guy. And I love the way he has been playing. He really has mastered the art of picking his spots and makes it look so easy. The roster is so well put together with role players and then LeBron is just one of the greatest ever.
That said I will be pulling for the Spurs. I don't like the Heat but they are impressive to watch.

Unless you're from South Florida I just don't get the appeal in rooting for the Heat. If they win, it's relief, if they lose, then everybody calls them overrated.

They basically just went out and bought a championship team whereas the Spurs have been a model franchise for years and acquired all their core players through the draft. Building a team from the ground up rather than throwing millions at super star free agents is much more impressive.

By all accounts, LeBron, Wade and Bosh are "good guys," but they're cocky attention whores. The Spurs are quiet but confident. They just show up and ball. They don't' want or need the attention.

Will the pistons try to sign LeBron this off season?

Maybe I haven't been paying attention, but what have the big three done lately that's attention whoring? Not throw a punch at Stephenson? Still be talked about because they are going to the finals again? Are they attention whoring or is espn talking about them?

I think LeBron has come out and said that 'the decision' was probably done wrong. He had good intentions there, and overlooked was all the money donated to the Boys and Girls club, or whatever organization he donated to. When the Heat signed all three players, they opened up the arena to the public and invited all of South Florida. Since about the first 6 months of coming down here, I haven't noticed any douchebaggery, and during the off season, if any of them are in the news, its because they did something good. None of the players are out getting arrested or doing stupid shit, they try to be active in the community. I know that James and Wade go to a biking thing every once in a while. I'm not even a big fan of the Heat, but I enjoy watching them in the playoffs.
