If they don't do that:

1) They might have made a 1st and scored a TD OR

2) at the least more time would have run off and Rodgers wouldn't have had time to kill them.

FTR, I was watching it backwards. I could see from the dining room the game reflected in a mirror of some sort over the bar in the next room. Rodgers was throwing left handed. I was allowed to have the ESPN game tracker on my phone on the table face up no touch. Just when the screen locked I could touch it.

Trust me, this dinner had to happen. No way out.
