I wish Trump's economy would stop fucking me in the ass.
Technology stocks led a slide on Wall Street on Thursday, with the S&P 500 languishing at 15-month lows and the Nasdaq flirting with bear market territory, after the Federal Reserve quashed hopes of a toned-down approach to its interest-rate hike path.
Adding to the gloom were a few disappointing earnings reports and the U.S. Congress scrambling to agree on a funding bill ahead of a Friday midnight deadline to prevent a partial shutdown of the federal government.
I wish Trump's economy would stop fucking me in the ass.

Re: Bump when these numbers move
A guy I was talking to, and I consider him a friend, but its more like a working friendship. He told me that the economy was going to tank now that there is a democratic congress, and the reason its going down is because of all the socialist programs they want to enact to make us end up like Venezuela or Cuba. I didn't even bother trying to say anything.Watch Out Pylon! wrote:https://www.fidelity.com/news/article/top-news/201812200735RTRSNEWSCOMBINED_KCN1OJ1KQ-OUSBS_1Technology stocks led a slide on Wall Street on Thursday, with the S&P 500 languishing at 15-month lows and the Nasdaq flirting with bear market territory, after the Federal Reserve quashed hopes of a toned-down approach to its interest-rate hike path.

Be patient, the adults will be back in charge in 2020. Hopefully they can turn back the giveaways to corporations. Lots of damage being done to mom and dads house while they’re away.

I wonder if your buddy understands the concept of the Senate and who is in control of it right now. Maybe?

SCOTUS won't allow the racist, bigoted christian sexual predator's asylum ban to be in place.
Bad day for racist bigots. Have fun in church Sunday.
SCOTUS vote was 5-4.

I have. I’ve lost more than that. Two kids at MSU cost about that, so, I lost a year of tuition.

I can’t decide if bob and dwags comparing their losses is a big dick contest about who had more invested in the first place or a big dick contest about who is the better investor and lost less.

This is what happens when we allow the dumbest people in the country decide who will be in charge. At least this hopefully will be a good learning experience for the rest of us.

Well so far it's just the market.....we'll see what happens overall. I predicted before the election that no matter who won we'd have a recession. Pretty simple prediction since we are waaaaaaay overdue for one so I'm no seer. The question is how bad and how long.
And as a recent politician once said....elections matter.....but I'm sure this is just a coincidence because people wouldn't vote against their own interests....right Wags?
Will now wait for the protestations from the members of the party of facts and science.

Wanna look at S&P percentage gain Trump vs Obama first two years? Also, want to extend that graph to the left for 8 years?

So you're saying that the Democrats elected in 2018 who haven't even taken office yet are to blame? Am I interpreting that correctly?

Gooses’s facts.
Here is a more accurate graph.
Goose, in the future please understand we’re all college grads and don’t fall for the bullshit the people who elected Trump do. I’ve seen your graph five times from idiot friends on Facebook that see pictures and get angry.

The market often moves in anticipation of events. But you knew that and ignored it for this response.

Also it was nice to see Wags enjoying his $1.49 gas. I recall the smartest President (Obama) mocking the dumbest candidate (Palin) for saying we could drill our way out of the shortage.
Guess he was wrong about that, eh? We've drilled and fracked so much that we're a net exporter for the 1st time in 75 years. Amazing what Americans can do when freed from the leash of government regulations.
