Anybody else in MI dealing with stink bugs this year?

I don't know how these effers are getting into my house, but I've been catching 1-2/day almost all winter long! I've never even seen more than a couple of these in my life but this year they're all over the place. They're dumb as shit too, they're slow as hell and they don't even try to get away from you when you catch them. I've been crushing and flushing them but I'm getting tired of it. Somebody please tell me they'll go away in the spring. Maybe I shouldn't have bought a house next to the woods.

You don't get rid of them, except in a deep freeze

Box elder bugs. Attracted to the box elder trees near your house (Acer Negundo). Over winter in your house. 3 options---

Treat the exterior of your house with a broad spectrum pesticide in early fall especially the south and west. Also spray them as they group together in the sun on your house in fall so they don't get in.

Have a pesticide company control them.

Cut down all the box elder trees within 250' of your house (probably not this)

I've killed 2 this week but that's the extent of my infestation so far.
