How did this sad excuse for a journalist gain such access to MSU athletics.

Seriously, he seems to have the ear of the AD, coaches and players. Worse yet, recruits and their families.

He was the sports anchor on WLAJ maybe 10 years or so ago when they tried to have local news, weather and sports for a half hour. But that didn't last long.

I don't pay any attention to Hondo if I can help it. What does he do that's bad? I was under the impression that he was just a relentless optimist but mostly harmless. Is that not the case?
