Most school districts teachers are contracted for 185 days. Students go 180. Where they place those five days are well advertised and known way before time. Don't pay attention and I imagine you have to scramble.

Cheapest day care baby sitter you'll ever find plus the kids are learning and getting exercise during the day. (If they've got the proper discipline from home)

I never knew of any good reason to actually go to school.  

(but that's just me.. and look how I turned out.. so, yeah..)..

Motherfuckers have 8 teacher workdays during the school year and 11 fucking holidays and let's not forget the 10 annual leave days.

they're also overpaid.. and they only work Monday-Friday from 8:00 - 3:00.. and they get holidays and summers off.

I've lived it. My sister was President of her local Teacher's Union for 3 years. During that time period she was incredibly scary.

this is the science and math teaching faculty at East Lansing HS.. in their defense, this picture was taken after parent/teacher conferences last week.
