I used to be a burrito guy and didn’t think tacos were very filling. These days I’m 100% taco over Burrito every day of the week.

Nigel, which is harder to do in Georgia: vote or get a ticket to a Braves game?

National Sandwich Day. Â Specials in the link.
Decided to get Jimmy John's limited-time sandwich. Â Not much of a special as JJ's is donating the sandwich purchase to their own charity, but the sandwich is pretty good.

Yesterday was national fly a kite day. Who the F is in charge of scheduling these things? Half the country resides in a climate not conducive to flying a kit a February 8th.

I imagine a line of trade group representatives outside some senate slush fund waiting their turn to claim a "National Day"....
I'd bet the National Kite Manufacturers of America didn't pay their donation in a timely fashion or to the correct sleazeball.

They've recently dropped the Caesar salad from their menu and jacked delivery to $5. Â Fuck them up the ass. Â There is better/cheaper pizza to be had via Doordash.
I'm a fan of Jets as well. There is one close to our house. However, the kids like Hungry Howies. So I lose and just get wings. Howies pizza is nasty. G's in Lake Orion is awesome if you are ever up this way in hick country. Get the Super G.
My other go to is Buscemis on M59 near Van Dyke. I can't drive by without stopping for some slices. Usually coming back from fishing on St. Clair and haven't eaten all day. Something about them that makes me stop every time.

Never liked Howies. Best I ever had from them was personal size pizzas from a roach coach. Orders from their stores have all been garbage.Nordic wrote:The Pantry wrote:

Buscemis locations vary. The one on Rochester Rd north of Big Beaver is very good. Location on Mound south of 15 mile is decent. No fucking way I'd order pizza from the Buscemis at 17 Mile and Ryan...place is seedy as hell.

At our age, do you really want to deny yourself one of the things you really enjoy? If it’s something I like, I’m handing over the extra few bucks because it’s worth it to me. I might bitch the first one or two times, but I’m still getting it.

Eating wouldn’t be a problem if you’d stop getting stuck on ice floes. You and your 17 friends wasted a lot of taxpayer money a few days ago when you all had to be rescued… again!
