Sad to report that Bruce Springsteen's Fan No. 1, Obie Dziedzic, passed away this morning. She was a friend to all. RIP.

yep - she was one of the last connections to the old Jersey shore area. Place has changed so much - if you haven't read Springsteen's book from late last year, it paints a lot of romanticized images of those days.

they were friends dating way back.. her on the far left with Steel Mill.. probably around 1970..  next to Bruce:
