That's twice now Lyons has embarrassed MSU, the second comment exposing the University to federal sanctions and a civil lawsuit, not to mention the damage done that was described in the article. Fucking glory hound. He needs to resign.

Exactly. At the risk of repeating myself from a couple of weeks ago, trustees are not spokespeople for the University. Their job is help chart the course, not be commenting in public or appearing on radio shows.

Definitely the latter. There is no new information - just 100% rehash and bash.

Even quoting one title IX expert suggesting MSU should shut its football program down for 5 years and start from scratch when everyone has graduated.

If he cares about MSU, he should resign.

He was elected to a state office - removing him is not an easy process, impeachment by the state legislature or removal by the governor if not in session. Elected state officials do not want it to be commonplace to remove an elected state official.
