Should the US invade Canada?

Roc is reporting Canada is trying to block parts of the US from seeing the upcoming eclipse. I am tired of their bullshit. They think they are better than us and have been real uppity lately. What have they ever done for the world? They gave us Tragically Hip, which was a punk move. So, invade Canada and steal all the Labatts?

The tragically hip makes the eclipse thing a wash. The New Pornographers, the Barenaked Ladies, and Sloan put things well on the side of not invading... then there's Nickleback....

Annexing Canada has strategic benefits like Canadian bacon, maple syrup and arctic seals. I like the rest of your bold ideas, though.

Yeah, but Canadians are too polite for war, and they work too hard to keep their cities clean to want to see anything blown up. I think they surrender every bit as quick as if they were offering to hold the door for someone.

In 1981 a bunch of us from MSU went to Windsor for some carousing. We find this low-key bar on Riverside I think it was and go on in. There's a private party going on but the guys throwing party welcomed us Americans. Time goes on and everybody's getting hammered, the Canadians start breaking pitchers over each others heads. That's pretty tough.

The last time the USA invaded its neighbor it was Mexico. The USA army sacked Mexico City, looked around, and said screw it, you can have this shithole.

Considering it's winter 9 months of the year I could see the same thing happening with Canada.
