Remember when Trump upset about Obama and Clinton not saying "Radical Islamic Terrorism"?

When was the last time Trump used those words? Trump and his loyalists were obsessed with pointing out how Obama and Clinton never used the phrase "radical Islamic terrorism." It was a Trump campaign talking point from start to finish. Yet, just yesterday, Joint Chiefs Chair General Joseph Dunford said in respect to the attack in Niger, "Our assessment right now is it is an ISIS-affiliated group. These are local tribal fighters that are associated with ISIS.” So where is "radical Islamic terrorism"? It seems to have largely disappeared from Trump's vocabulary.

Odd that few, if any, Trump loyalists are bothered by its disappearance. They were so worked up over the issue, and thought not using the phrase was symbolic of American weakness. It's funny how they refuse to see how they were conned. Actually, maybe they do see how they were conned, but are digging in deeper because they are too afraid to admit it.

They probably just forgot all about the whole phrase thing turtleneck. They never really cared. It was just something to get riled up about.
