Football playing families at MSU - A Project
I've thought about this many times but have never undertaken getting it all in one place.
It seems that MSU football has a lot of multi generational and other family ties.
I'd like to get them all in one place, not just current players but over the decades too.
To start with the most famous:
Hank Bullough > Shane Bullough > Chuck Bullough > Max Bullough > Riley Bullough > Byron Bullough
Jim Miller > Grayson Miller
Mike Panasiuk > Jacub Panasiuk > Maybe 1 more coming?
Jack Allen > Brian Allen > Matt Allen
David & Andrew Dowell > Maybe 1 more coming?
Jim Morrissey > Matt Morrissey
Andre Rison > Hunter Rison
Others? I know I'm missing many.....

Went back and looked at the roster...
Matt & Mitchell Sokol
Tanner Hallock son of Ty Hallock.
Floyd was right Grayson son of John Miller the S, not Jim the QB.
Reid Burton, son of Coach Ron
Nick Krumm, son of Todd

Tony Banks and his brother Carlton were the son of Phil, who was an OT that played for Duffy.

Wait, this is football. I thought this was about family run moonshine stills in the Smokies. Never mind. Sorry to all those involved.
Edit: It should have read Crazy Bill Sakimano.

Re: Football playing families at MSU - A Project
Scott and Billy Greene are another.
Blake Treadwell, son of Don (though Don wasn't a player here).
Lo White's kid wanted to come to MSU several years back, but didn't get an offer. Ended up at Central.
I wonder how this compares to other Power 5 schools, both overall and currently. Really seems like we have an extraordinary amount at the moment. Especially sons of former players.
