I know the stakes were higher against Iowa but I'll take the Tony Banks, Scott Greene, Derrick Mason, Nigea drive against U of M in 95.

‘95 was my favorite MSU v. UM game. It was cold and snowy. Hell of a game. Mason returned a punt for a TD, I think.

That game had a movie like quality to it. The difference in rankings between the teams, the night time, the lights in the stadium, the thick snowfall. It was all like something a movie producer would've written.

95 is my most memorable MSU-UM game. That drive, man. There was crazy drama in that drive. 4th and 10 (or around there) sideline pass that came down to a measurement. The tipped ball that Mason catches as he's horizontal falling onto his back.

I still have a recording of that game from PASS's rebroadcast, with Staudt doing play by and, IIRC, Perles doing color.

Brought my favorite scummer to that game. Man was he PISSED during the ride home. Cold as hell if I remember.
