Well it hasn’t changed at all.... there really isn’t criteria and also the years are different. but I made the same argument last year that it should have been Penn State.

Why put Alabama at #5 if they were always going to be jumped by teams ranked behind them? The rankings are dumb, and it just makes for pointless controversy. They need to stop putting out rankings, and pick the field after the CC games.

They beat CFP bound Georgia. And ranked LSU, Miss St, and Fresno St. I'd say that's at least credible enough to not be jumped by a two loss OSU.

I don't hate any Big Ten teams except UM. And Rutgers. And Maryland. The last 2 only because they should have never been allowed in the conference in the first place.

And do we really want to see another big ten team get shut out?

That said look there is literally no way to convince me that any team that didn’t win their conference should be allowed in ever. No circumstance where that makes sense. We already established over the season that Georgia is better than Alabama based on pre agreed upon SEC rules. We’re trying to figure out who is the best team in the country- can’t be the best if you’re #3 in your own conference. The only argument to be had, to me, is USC or OSU (or UCF.) Anyone else shouldn’t even be considered.
