Jack Morris received 14 of 16 votes from the Modern Era Committee. Alan Trammell received 13. Ted Simmons just missed, with 11. 12 needed for induction.

If I had my wish it would have been Trammel and Whitaker together.

I think Jack deserves it too. My .02 but if a player is in the top 5 at his position for a decade then he should be in. I think Jack meets that criteria.

I have an old Alan Trammell rookie card lying around somewhere. It's an odd one that has 4 players on it. One of the other players is Paul Molitor. I wonder what it's worth these days.
