I don't know what Fox was doing in the pregame, but I'm pretty sure the twitter stuff I read said he dressed and was "lightly" tossing the ball around to see if he could make a go of it.

He was in uniform for the pregame warm-ups. Then came out in street clothes for the game.

In reading a bit after the game there is some "read between the lines" speculation about whether he was actually hurt or missed for other reasons. Apparently the wrist injury (to his non throwing hand) was mid-season and he played most of the year with it.

Leach was his normal self after the game:

Yeah, I know but it is exactly that - just speculation. If he had surgery, why not confirm it at least post game? It just seems odd. Falk has accepted an invite to play in the senior bowl.

Here is the full context of what Leach said post game:

"Luke is doing exactly what we want Luke to do, and Luke has had a fine career here and also done a great deal for this program, probably more than most people will ever realize," Leach said. "Tyler [Hilinski] was the ideal guy to start with our lineup today."

Pressed on Falk's injury, Leach said: "You will remain unclear on it. Next question."

Why the whole charade of pregame warm-ups? I don't follow WSU football closely, but apparently Falk has been benched at various times during games.
