Fish-eating spiders are widespread
Planning on spending time in, on, or near the water this summer? Keep an eye out for fish-eating spiders. They might just be keeping an eye out for you.

Whatever you do, do not google "fish eating spider". There's some crazy shit there. And I'm not even afraid of spiders.

Sorry, buddy, that's heroin withdrawal. Go drink some orange juice. It'll help you for a couple of minutes. Then you gone.

I love sharing spider stories because I know there are a bunch of people here who get the creeps from them.

"The study in the journal PLOS ONE by zoologist and spider expert Martin Nyffeler, from the University of Basel in Switzerland, and Bradley Pusey, from the University of Western Australia, documents more than 80 incidents of spiders killing fish across the world, confirming that spiders do not exclusively eat insects."
I wonder how you say Bradley's last name

Like I said, not afraid of spiders but I don't have any specific stories. However, if I saw one of those Giant Orb spiders that was in a video in that search, I'd probably shit myself. It caught TWO BIRDS(!) and ate them. That shit is NOT supposed to happen I, for one, welcome our new spider overlords.

Those photos kind of freaked me out when I first saw them, too. Still the most unnatural-looking pics I've ever seen, and that includes photos of Michael Jackson post-whitening.
