Can't Pirates and clowns just learn to get along? Nobody wins this game. Nobody.

My advice would be to get a monkey... and torture the hell out of it.

The State Theater? Sure, I remember that. Been gone for probably close to forty years.

That's weird. I worked there when it closed actually.

Fun show to watch while flipping around the tube after taking a few bong tokes. I was always more of a Kids N The Hall fan but that show had it's moments. I saw Stella Perform in NYC once and it was hysterical. I also met Michael Shoewalter at a bar once. Nice guy and glad his directing career took off.

Did you ever meet Heath Ledger in a bar?

No sorry. Spartan Triplex. I told you we smoked a lot of pot there.
I saw Pearl Jam, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the Smashing Pumpkins (together) at the State theater though. Probably 1991 or 2. What a show.

Nope but I ate at his restaurant. Tiny place but good food.

Any chance it was Dooley’s? I could’ve sworn the State was torn down before then, but it was so long ago, the years have started to blur.
Edit: I forgot to mention how I’m old enough to remember when it was the Spartan Duplex. Those were some big ass screens.

Haha, you missing Ozy? I was never much of a Heath Ledger fan but I don’t think anyone will ever forget that thread. If you want to find out if someone hung out on that board casually mention Ozymandias from the Watchmen and then mention Heath Ledge as the Joker and then look at their face to see if they smirk at all.
