Amazed that he could play even one down after battling back from cancer. A true Spartan warrior.

For sure. And to many of the rest. He should have said “this dude is crazy, I’m out who’s with me?” Right around Rhodes.

Just finished it. I'm not exactly sure what just transpired there. Might need to take another look. And that doofus kid of mine is surely going to want to see it. The story line is pretty much the most important thing in his life right now as far as he's concerned.

- spoilers for the end of the game, not the epilogue:
- It changes a little depending on your honor level. But basically what Arthur and John were thinking was going to happen, happened and the gang all got killed or scattered to the wind. The epilogue ties up a lot of loose ends and I'm not even through it yet. It's long.

Re: Arthur Morgan
Has your kid played the first game? The story is more coherent in the first one in my opinion. At least John is the one making his own decisions and you know why. Dutch leading Arthur around by the nose just stopped sitting right with me about halfway through RDR2.

Yeah I found him.
- Spoiler:
- he was mad I shot his ma and pa wolf. He attacked me in the cave and I had to shoot him like 20 times to kill him.

Re: Arthur Morgan
He is too young to play. He got hooked into the wild west stuff and when he saw me playing (re-playing) 1 a few years ago he lost his mind. I have to censor what he sees. He's not a gamer and he's only 9. But like I've said elsewhere the story is so compelling that he's completely hooked in terms of what's going on with Arthur, Micah, Sadie Dutch, et al.
I agree with your observations about 1 vs. 2. Though I do wish we could hit Mexico in 2. Many many very cool things about 2.

The remastered version of 1 is pretty awesome, but sometimes I still find myself watching a damn tree sway in the wind in 2 and thinking how much work went into it. It's like nothing I've ever seen scenery-wise.

Naw, man, he’s the avuncular rich old white guy who adopts a black family living in inner-city LA after the race riots. Lots of multicultural miscues transpire; hilarity ensues. It’s Watts Happening.

I had a tough time getting through the first bit of it after you leave the mountain tbh. I’m like wait I need to feed the horse or whatever? I’ve heard once you push through that it all gets better but I need to just start over some time because that was a few months ago.

Re: Arthur Morgan
Family back tonight. I replayed the final mission of the epilogue for the kid. He was out of his mind. Still a lot of open ended questions.
- Spoilers:
- Why did Dutch turn on Micah?
Leading into RDR1 - Why does John have such a grudge with Dutch, Bill and Javier?
When did the Feds/Pinkertons press John on going after Dutch?
Why is Abigail such a bitch?
Why can't we continue to play the game as Charles, as he is fucking awesome.
Why doesn't John ditch that nagging pos Abigail and shack up with Sadie? She is a true bad ass and I want to be her forever more.

Why did Dutch turn on Micah?
Dutch is a conflicted dude. He envisions himself a good man in spite of all the shit he’s done. He shot micah because he knows from Arthur at the end of the game that Micah was the rat. He had teamed up with him out of necessity and seeing John again told him it was time to go.
Leading into RDR1 - Why does John have such a grudge with Dutch, Bill and Javier?
He would have been happy letting it go. But as you know, the Pinkertons kidnapped Abigail and Jack so he had to go after them. Javier was an asshole and Bill was a moron and John wasn’t sad to see them dead, but at the end of 1, he still couldn’t kill Dutch.
When did the Feds/Pinkertons press John on going after Dutch?
If you watch the credits, you see them questioning folks and eventually finding Johns ranch.
Why is Abigail such a bitch?
She doesn’t want John to die. That’s how she deals with her fear.
Why can't we continue to play the game as Charles, as he is fucking awesome.
Maybe in rdr3?
Why doesn't John ditch that nagging pos Abigail and shack up with Sadie? She is a true bad ass and I want to be her forever more.
I agree, she’s awesome. She’s the one I’d like to see as the protagonist in rdr3
Gave you my best guesses in your spoiler tag.
